Welcome to our lovely little sauna located by Vangsvatnet in Voss. All information about our saunas can be found on our new website wildsauna.no . But if you know what your doing and don’t need the info just use the calendar right here to book. Please remember it takes two hours for the sauna to heat up if its not already in use. You must book in advance unless you have seen another group using the sauna before you.
Welcome to our little sauna down by Vangsvatnet in Voss!
From inside you can enjoy the view while you let your body get warm and cozy. When you feel like it’s time to cool down a bit, you can choose between a dip in the water or a refreshing shower outside.
How does it work?
The sauna has 8 drop-in seats. If you want to have the sauna to yourself, you can book it privately. We allow a maximum of 10 people if you book it privately.
When you make a booking, you will be sent a code that you can use to open the door. We make sure that the sauna is warm when you arrive, so that you can start the experience right away. The sauna has a small changing room and a shower. You can use the toilet on the first floor of the Park Hotel, use the entrance door on the right when you leave the sauna. Please make sure that you are dry and wearing clothes when you enter the hotel.
Please note that the sauna is located on Park Hotel grounds and that the area around the lake is public space. Please be considerate of hotel guests, locals and tourists by keeping noise levels down and taking your trash with you when you leave the area.
Please read the following rules and betting instructions:
- It is not permitted to stay in the sauna without a valid booking. There will be inspectors and guests without a valid booking must pay a fine of NOK 2,000.
- Shoes or slippers are not allowed inside the sauna room.
- Use of the sauna is at your own risk. Wild Sauna Norway or Park Hotel cannot be held responsible for any errors, deficiencies or consequences.
- If you damage the sauna or sauna stove, you will be held financially responsible.
- Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to use the sauna without an adult present.
- For hygienic reasons, please sit on a towel.
- If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy or tired, leave the sauna room.
- Remember to drink water before, during and after your time in the sauna.
- To prevent falls, be careful when walking in and around the sauna room. Especially in the dark. The floor and ground can be slippery.
- New guests may arrive after you, so please leave the sauna room in time.
